1. This is to express my gratitude and thanks all the staff members of Global Placement Services (GPS). I arrived in Canada in January 2000. Global Placement Services provided me guidance in my employment search. They made sure that my resume was at par with the international standards before it was sent out to agencies. Global Placement Services  has always kept in touch with me over the period of time to see how my job search is developing and i am always notified regarding the employers whom my resume is being sent to. The staff of Global Placement Services  has provided me the services with so much of patience, which I could not have got anywhere else.

2. I would like to thank Global Placement Services for all their help. I arrived in Canada on March 20th 1999. I moved to Surrey B.C. After one week I called Global Placement Services. Mr. Panke recommended that with my experience I would be better suited to move to Toronto. The next week I moved to Toronto and set up and appointment to meet with the Global Placement Services staff. The staff helped me with my job search and settlement. They gave me good advise on looking for for and what companies would be hiring in my line. Within my first week of coming to Toronto I was able to secure a permanent job with a auto parts manufacturer. I am earning a good salary and am settling well. This job is going to give me good Canadian experience. I am glad that Global Placement Services was there to help me. Without their direct efforts i may have spent a lot of time searching for jobs in the wrong place. They really helped me get settled.

3. I arrived in Canada on June 10, 1998, from Delhi. Global Placement Services has provided me all guidance in my employment search I have attended two counseling sessions. The counselor provided me excellent information about Canada Employment Centers, networking with employers as well how to have access to people in my own community. I was given information on all the colleges and universities in Canada on their web sites. The counselors spent a great amount of time on my resume to have it in Canadian standard format. I am pleased to inform that Global Placement Services has kept in touch with me over the period of time that i have been there. They are informing me where my resume has been and to ensure that my job search is going well. The staff of Global Placement Services has provided me the service in a caring and patient manner. The counselor spends 3 hours with me individually. I appreciate the time he spends with me making sure that I was informed in detail about Canada and job search.

4. You will be happy to hear that i have been able to secure a position in my line as a Printed Circuit Board Engineer, with a Canadian company called S&P Flux Circuits. I secured the job after only four weeks of coming to Canada. When I arrived in Canada I attended the two counseling sessions arranged by Global Placement Services. As advised I took a list of companies from Adrianna, revised my resume and started contacting companies. Global Placement Services also found me a temporary positions while I was seeking permanent work. In addition to the list provided by Global Placement Services I went to the library and obtained additional names of companies. From that list I noticed that one of the company's owners was Indian. I contacted him and two days later he called me back and asked me to come in for an interviews. He asked me to work for three hours to test my skills. After that I was hired full time. It is important that other clients know that you much be prepared to work hard when you arrive. Global Placement Services will provide you with the tools, but it is your efforts that will result in getting a job. I used all the tools provided by Global Placement Services and this is the result. I am very happy and my wife and children will be coming to Canada in September.

5. Global Placement Services has been of tremendous help to me. When i arrived there in the first week of September I met with the Counselor of Global Placement Services. She was very helpful in giving me information about looking for work in Canada. I also met with Mr. Panke who gave me good insightin into what jobs to pursue in Canada. My background is sales and marketing. I was encouraged to pursue positions initially in  inside sales. Right away I started applying to many positions and I was getting several interviews. In fact I had a job offer with one of the largest retail stores in Canada, but Mr. Panke called me with another oppurtunity.He had set up an interview with a company called Telespectrum. Telespectrum is a sales and customer service company working with Fortune 500 companies. I was interviewed on Oct 2 and was offered the job the same day. I am very thankful to Global Placement Services for providing me the right help at the right time.

6. I am writing to you to say that you are true to your word. Global Placement Services has just secured me a long term temporary assignment with a major North American Company. I arrived on September 15, 1999. Shortly after arriving I met with the Global Placement Services counselor and Mr. Panke. My background is computer programming and of course I wanted to get into my field. Mr. Panke explained to me that even though my background is in computers the type of positions companies hire for will vary over the course of the year. He said that with the current Y2K problems positions in my line are not as plentiful as they were the beginning of the year. One week later Mr. Panke offered me a position with Telespectrum that offered better salary and benefits and I started with that company October 4, 1999. I am confident I will be successful in Canada and I know I can rely on the people of Global Placement Services.

7. I landed in Canada in Nov 1999. In the beginning I was disoriented and was wondering how I will be able to find a suitable job. In less than two months I found a beautiful and satisfying job in my field with 'General Switchgear' in the department of 'Technical Sales' with a handsome starting salary of 40k with benefits. In Global Placement Services i was given good counseling and advice about my job prospects. I was assisted in the art of resume writing and interview skills and I was made aware of the current market trends. Besides the leads for job search my morale was also boosted and during the time of uncertainty, which did not last for long in my case. I was given reassurance and emotional support. I found the staff at Global Placement Services very understanding, sympathetic and helpful. My first few months in Canada were hard but my hurdles became smaller when i had to place to turn to. I am quite comfortable in my job. I have forged a good relationship with Global Placement Services and am assured of their continued support as I make progress in my settlement.
